This tournament will be played from 06th to 10th July 2023, and the playing days will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Four players will take part and will compete under the rules of active chess imposed by FIDE.
It will be played in three sessions of play by the K.O. system with semi-finals and final:
On Friday 07 July the first day of the competition, the first round will take place.
On Saturday 08th July the second semi-final.
On Sunday, July 9th, the final.
The pairings for these semi-finals and final will be determined by seeded teams, who will choose their opponents according to their ranking. The colours for the semi-finals and final will be drawn by lot the day before the start of the event.
In each of the semi-final and final there will be 4 games of 20 minutes per player with an increment of 10 seconds per move.
If after the 4 games, the score is tied, the winner will be decided with rapid games of 5 minutes + 3 seconds per move. If the tie persists, a game shall be played by the Armageddon system.
