This tournament will be held from July 2nd to 6th, 2026, and the playing days will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Four world-class Grandmasters will participate, competing under the FIDE rules of active chess.
The tournament will consist of three sessions played using a knockout system with semifinals and a final:
The first round will take place on Friday, July 3rd, the first day of competition.
The second round will take place on Saturday, July 4th. The final will be held on Sunday, July 5th.
The pairings for these knockout rounds will be determined by the seeded players, based on their ranking, who will choose their opponent. The colors for the knockout rounds will be drawn the day before the event begins.
Each knockout round will consist of four games, each with a time control of 20 minutes per player and a 10-second increment per move.
If the score is tied after the four games, the winner will be decided by rapid play at 5 minutes plus 3 seconds per move.
