A new edition of the popular chess and finance competition, which is based on 4 fundamental principles of analysis and decision-making in chess and finance: INITIATIVE, PRUDENCE, PATIENCE AND OBJECTIVITY. With free registration, the winners will be eligible for interesting prizes.
CHESS IN THE STREETS
Streets of LeónFROM JUNE 10TH. TO JULY 15TH.
The Chess Magistral of León contributes to the care of the environment and its sustainability by highlighting the importance of recycling. The giant recycled rubber chess pieces that we installed in the streets of León are a living example of what it means to give a second life to disposable elements, such as rubber from old tyres, which turns them into beautiful chess pieces and a cultural vehicle.
There will be other surprise activities related to chess and designed for children.
SIMMULTANEOUS EXHIBITION BY THE 20-YEAR-OLD PRODIGY AND INTERNATIONAL GRANDMASTER, VOLODAR MURZIN

On Thursday 2nd July at 17.30 hours, in the hall of the University of Philosophy and Letters of the ULE, there will be an exhibition of simultaneous chess by the very young Argentinean prodigy and the youngest international master in the history of chess, who won the title at the age of 10, and who will be playing against 20 amateurs from León.

120 players will compete in this eighth edition of the "Magistral de León" International Open, which will once again be in person and will allow fans to travel to León to enjoy playing chess and at the same time see the best players in the world in action.
